Terms of Service

QuickMemorial (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides a platform for creating permanent memorial web pages for deceased loved ones. Memorials are hosted as static HTML pages and are intended to remain accessible indefinitely.

By using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use QuickMemorial.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use QuickMemorial. By creating a memorial, you represent that you have the legal right to submit the content you provide.

• You provide the memorial content (name, dates, biography, photos) through our creation form
• We process and publish the memorial as a static web page
• Each memorial receives a unique, permanent URL
• Each memorial includes a secure manage link for viewing and updating the memorial details
• Remember memorials include 14 days of manage access before moving into archive preview mode
• Paid memorials can be updated from the manage link while the service remains available

• A free Remember plan is available with limited features including 1 photo, read-only guestbook, and archive preview rules after 14 days
• Paid tiers are one-time payments — no subscriptions or recurring charges
• All prices are listed in USD
• Payments are processed securely by Paddle, our merchant of record. We do not store your payment card details

You are solely responsible for the content you submit. Memorials must not contain:

• Content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights
• Harmful, abusive, defamatory, or hateful content
• Content created for anyone other than a deceased individual
• Spam, advertising, or promotional material
• Illegal content or content that violates applicable laws

We reserve the right to remove any memorial that violates these guidelines without notice or refund.

You retain ownership of the content you submit (text, photos). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the memorial service.

We aim to host memorials permanently, but we cannot guarantee perpetual uptime or availability. Memorial hosting depends on third-party infrastructure (GitHub Pages, Vercel, Supabase).

We will make reasonable efforts to migrate memorials if our hosting infrastructure changes. We are not liable for temporary outages caused by third-party service providers.

We may suspend or terminate access to our service at any time if you violate these terms. Upon termination for a terms violation, no refund is owed.

QuickMemorial is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific memorial in question
• We are not responsible for the accuracy or appropriateness of user-submitted content

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing other remedies.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
