When you create a memorial on QuickMemorial, we collect the information you voluntarily provide:

• Your email address (to deliver the memorial link and QR code PDF)
• Details about the deceased: name, birth date, death date, and biography
• Photos you upload for the memorial page
• Payment information (processed securely by our payment provider — we never store or see your card details)

• To create, process, and permanently host the memorial page you requested
• To send you the memorial link and, for paid plans, the QR code PNG and printable PDF via email
• To process your payment for paid tiers
• To respond to your support or removal requests
• To improve and maintain our service (aggregate analytics only)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We use the following trusted services to operate QuickMemorial:

• Supabase — Database (PostgreSQL) and photo storage
• GitHub Pages — Memorial page hosting (static HTML)
• Paddle — Payment processing (merchant of record)
• Resend — Transactional email delivery
• Vercel — Application hosting

Each service processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data required for each service to function.

Remember and Honor memorials are publicly accessible via their unique URL. Anyone with the link can view them.

Cherish and Forever memorials can be password-protected and are not indexed by search engines.

Memorial pages include the content you provide (name, dates, biography, photos) and are intended to remain hosted permanently.

When visitors light a candle on a memorial, we may collect their optional display name, optional message, and a hashed version of their IP address for rate-limiting purposes only. We do not store raw IP addresses.

QuickMemorial does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers for marketing purposes.

• Essential cookies — Used for site functionality (e.g., theme preference)
• Google Analytics — We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous, aggregate traffic data (page views, session duration, country). This helps us improve the service. Google Analytics may set cookies on your device. You can opt out using a browser extension.

Memorial data and published pages are retained indefinitely as part of the service. Payment records are retained as required by law. If you request removal, we will delete your data within 30 days (see below).

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To request removal of a memorial or your data, contact us at [email protected]. We will process removal requests within 30 days.

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you may also have rights under the GDPR including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

QuickMemorial is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the latest revision at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
