1. Information We Collect
When you create a memorial, we collect the information you provide:
- Your email address (to send the memorial link and QR code)
- The deceased person's name, dates, and biography
- Photos you upload
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never see your card details)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and host the memorial page you requested
- To send you the memorial link and QR code PDF via email
- To process your payment (for paid tiers)
- To respond to support inquiries
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage & Hosting
Memorial data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL). Photos are stored in Supabase Storage. Published memorial pages are hosted on GitHub Pages as static HTML files. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Emails are sent via Resend.
4. Memorial Pages
Free and Public tier memorials are publicly accessible via their URL. Private and Premium tier memorials can be password-protected. Memorial pages include the content you provide (name, dates, biography, photos) and are hosted permanently.
5. Candle Feature
When visitors light a candle on a memorial, we collect their optional display name, optional message, and a hashed version of their IP address (for rate-limiting purposes only). We do not store raw IP addresses.
6. Data Removal
To request removal of a memorial or your data, please contact us at support@quickmemorial.com. We will process removal requests within 30 days.
7. Contact
